Stagnant

That is a pretty good description of what I have been lately. It's time to get motivated again. Jerrod was playing in the sink the other day and broke my scale so until I get a new one I am going to pay a lot of attention to how I feel in my clothes. Also last night I watched this show "I can make you thin" It was pretty interesting, but I liked the concepts he shared. So I'm going to try it, what do I have to lose except weight right? He has 4 rules which seem like we should do anyways, so I'm going to follow them and hopefully change how I eat. They are:
1. When you are hungry, EAT.
Here is is scale, and you are not supposed to go into the red areas.

2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should.
3.
Eat CONSCIOUSLY and enjoy every mouthful.
Put the knife and fork down whilst you are chewing your food and really enjoy it - savour the taste, and enjoy the wonderful textures and sensations as you thoroughly chew each mouthful of food at least 20 times!
4.
When you think you are full, STOP eating.

I'm going to give it a try, and we'll see how it goes. Here's a link to his site if anyone is interested.

Stupid Cars!

I went out for my run today, it went much better than my last one. I could run longer before needing a walking break, Yeah! I was out for about 35 mins and finished it up with a 20 minute Pilates video. Ok on to my title, why is it when you are at an intersection and have a green walk arrow cars that are turning right have the right away. I am always super cautious before heading onto the street, but this is the second time now where if I wasn't so aware it would have been a close call. We really need a more walking/running/biking friendly community, but sadly it seems that the car is king.

Note to all drivers, please be aware of pedestrians.
